  1.        ** The Cash Register Inventory System INSTALLS on your hard drive **

  3.           Exit to DOS by pressing ESC.   Type Manual and the   
  4.           manual will print to your printer.  Read the manual.
  5.           Then go to DOS and type INSTALL.  The program will
  6.           Install itself on your hard disk drive. 
  7.           MENU 2 - To read the files on this menu, select 
  8.           the title by using the <spacebar> to highlight
  9.           your choice.  Then press the <enter> key to select.  
  10.           Pressing the spacebar will advance to the next page.  
  11.           Pressing the <Esc> key will take you back to the menu.

  13.           **USE PRINT SCREEN TO MAKE A PRINTOUT OF EACH SCREEN**

  15.                FILE READER will enable you to read any .txt or 
  16.           .doc file on any drive.  After selecting FILE READER, 
  17.           type in the Letter of the disk drive that your disk is 
  18.           in i.e. A B or C.  Do not add the :. Check the 
  19.           directory listing that is displayed.  Then type in the 
  20.           complete file name i.e. BRICKS.DOC or BRICKS.TXT.  The 
  21.           file will be loaded and can be read the same as 
  22.           documents from MENU 2.

  24.                Typing in file names with extensions other than 
  25.           .doc or .txt may cause unpredictable results.  If you 
  26.           do and something goes wrong, first try pressing the 
  27.           <Esc> key.  If that doesn't work, restart your system.

  29.           THE IDEA OF SHAREWARE 
  30.  
  31.               The disk you just received is "shareware", unlike 
  32.           commercial software, you have the opportunity to try it 
  33.           out before you decide to buy it.  We have only 
  34.           charged a small fee to cover the cost of duplicating 
  35.           and distributing the disk.  On the disk the authors 
  36.           explain payment and registration for their programs.  
  37.           We strongly urge you to support the authors through the 
  38.           registration fees.  They  hold the copyrights, not 
  39.           SoftLore, and your obligation is to them.  They have 
  40.           produced excellent software and will continue to make 
  41.           quality low cost software available if they receive the 
  42.           support that they deserve.

  46.           license to this program.  SoftLore's warranty is 
  47.           limited to replacing defective diskettes of the same 
  48.           title.  Sorry, but we can make no refunds.
